Terms of Service

Section 1 (Purpose)

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the terms and conditions under which SOV ("Company") provides the Android application 'OneTap NetFilter' ("Service"), and define the rights, duties, and responsibilities between the Company and users.

Section 2 (Service Provision & Features)

The Service provides local on-device network security and privacy protection features, including:

  1. Android VpnService-based local DNS query inspection and local loopback filtering.
  2. Real-time proactive blocking of known malicious domains, phishing sites, and trackers.
  3. User-customizable domain allowlist and blocklist management.
  4. Local threat statistics and filtering diagnostic logs.

Section 3 (Paid Services, Subscriptions & Free Trials)

  1. Premium Membership Options: The Service offers essential features for free and premium enhanced features through auto-renewing subscriptions (e.g., monthly) and a one-time lifetime pass.
  2. Free Trial Terms:
    1. A free trial period (e.g., 7 days) may be offered to eligible new subscribers.
    2. Free trials are strictly limited to one (1) trial per Google Play account.
    3. Upon expiration of the free trial period, your subscription will automatically roll over into a paid subscription and your payment method will be charged the recurring subscription fee (e.g., ₱70.00/month or local equivalent) at the stated billing frequency unless canceled prior to the end of the trial.
  3. Auto-Renewal & Recurring Billing:
    1. Subscriptions automatically renew on each billing cycle (e.g., monthly) unless canceled by the user before the renewal date.
    2. The exact price, currency, and renewal period are clearly displayed in the in-app subscription screen and Google Play checkout sheet prior to confirmation.
  4. Cancellation & Avoidance of Charges:
    1. You may cancel your free trial or active subscription at any time.
    2. To avoid being charged, you must cancel the subscription at least 24 hours before the free trial period or current billing cycle ends.
    3. How to Cancel: Open the Google Play Store app > tap your Profile icon (top-right) > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions, select 'OneTap NetFilter', and tap [Cancel subscription]. Uninstalling the app does not automatically terminate or cancel your subscription.
  5. Refund Policy: In-app purchases and subscription refunds are governed directly by Google Play Store Refund Policies and applicable consumer protection laws.

Section 4 (Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability)

  1. The Service operates based on open-source community filter lists. We do not guarantee 100% detection or blocking of all potential online threats or trackers.
  2. The Company shall not be held liable for any communication disruption or service access restrictions caused by user-configured domain blocking or allowing rules, absent willful intent or gross negligence.
  3. The Company is not liable for temporary service interruptions arising from factors beyond reasonable control, such as carrier outages, hardware failures, or OS system updates.

Section 5 (User Obligations)

Users agree to comply with applicable laws and these Terms. Users shall not decompile, reverse-engineer, or misuse the Service for unlawful activities or infringe on the rights of third parties.

Section 6 (Intellectual Property)

All trademarks, user interface designs, and proprietary source code related to the Service are the exclusive intellectual property of the Company. Third-party open-source filter lists (such as AdGuard DNS Filter) and open-source libraries belong to their respective copyright holders and are licensed under their applicable open-source terms.

Section 7 (Amendments & Governing Law)

The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms in accordance with applicable laws. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
